The Soulful Society has a profile: driven, intelligent professionals who strive to live their best lives and are therefore interested in continuous self-improvement.

Our drive for excellence has a lot of positive aspects, but this healthy drive can also go into overdrive - making us vulnerable to perfectionism. Getting stuck in perfectionism can be demotivating and, ironically, become a barrier to creating the life we actually want.

Is perfectionism our friend or foe?

What drives it, and how does it manifest in our lives?

These are the questions we'll explore in today's episode.

Perfectionism is a double-edged sword. It can motivate us to achieve great things, but when taken to extremes, it can lead to anxiety, burnout, and a constant sense of inadequacy.
