It's important to "Know Your Onions." As Mack and Deke struggle to keep Freddy Mallick safe from the Chroni-cops in 1931, the rest of the team struggles to decide if they should just let him be killed and stop HYDRA before they become a threat. When Simmons and Yo-Yo get to Koenig's speakeasy, they save the woman in the red dress, but Simmons makes a startling discovery about the mysterious liquid that Freddy is supposed to be transporting. Back on the ship, May has awoken, but she seems a bit….off. Enoch tries his best to help her understand, but May wants to go on the mission. Then, the team grabs the Zephyr to give Mack support, with Koenig tagging along. Their time in 1931 is about to expire, but they all wonder if they should save Mallick, or let him die for the greater good. Jay and Josh aren't crying!
