I’ve always loved Halloween, but I’ve kept it a secret.
My relationship with the holidays has always intrigued and haunted me. So, join me as I uncover why my turbulent relationship with Halloween is rooted in the Satanic Panic of the 90s, cultural heritage, and lore.
We’ll cross the Atlantic to Ireland to understand the ancient festival of Samhain (So-wen) and its traditions, which influenced the modern celebration of Halloween and my longings for meaning.
