In this episode, I dive deep into an unexpected challenge I've faced during my transformation from fat to fit as a first responder realtor in Santa Clarita, CA. After torching off 135 pounds of body fat over eight months through fasting and disciplined eating, I've encountered reactions from friends and family that I didn't anticipate.

Social gatherings often revolve around food and drink, and choosing not to partake can sometimes make others uncomfortable. I share a recent experience at a large dinner party where my decision not to eat the high-carb, sugar-laden foods sparked curiosity and even criticism. People questioned why I would "deprive" myself of such delicious food.

But for me, it's not about deprivation—it's about self-respect and staying true to my health goals. I discuss how food is no longer the centerpiece of my social interactions and how I've shifted my focus to the people and experiences instead.
