Benchmark Your Business Hi everyone, Carl Gould here with your #70secondCEO. Just a little over a one minute investment every day for a lifetime of results. You always wanna know what your competitors are up to because that's how you'll be compared for sure.

One of the things that we like to do with our clients is to have them say, "I want to be different." How do I differentiate myself? How do we stand out? We've found that innovation in one industry comes from the front lines of another industry. So I want to find out, I want to benchmark myself against my competitors.

I want to benchmark them against the top, the best in class, in any industry that I'm in and any other industry that I'm being compared to. So, for example, I'm a tennis fan. I like to go to the US Open.

That's tennis, right? But I'm also a football fan. I'm also a baseball fan. I go to various events.

So the US Open does a good job of saying, wait a minute. During our tournament, people have other choices. They can go to a baseball game. They can go to a, you know, basketball game. Basketball's just getting started, the preseason, right? There are other sports that are happening, like preseason football.

There's a lot we can do. We're not just fighting for tennis fans; we're fighting for sports fans.
