Nobody like a showoff? ( Really? ) Personally I've always admired people who could authentically self advocate. It's something most people ( me ) struggle with.
LinkedIn reflects the wider business community in as much as, despite appearances, it's a world of wall flowers.
It's like those humiliating school discos where there are a few noisy confident kids in the middle and the rest of us standing around the edge looking at our shoes and waiting to be *asked* to dance.
( Well - Don't wait to be asked.. It didn't help in school and it's not helping now. )
