Like many of us, Zafer had a very negative view of salespeople. He was an engineer by trade. But then something happened...

He became a salesman.

That was 10+ years ago, and since then he has been very successful in several sales positions, including executive and senior management roles in IBM. All without having to become the “stereotype” he held around the profession.

Today at IBM he’s Vice President of Cloud & Red Hat Synergy in the Americas, currently leading some of IBM’s key growth initiatives across the United States for Global Markets in industries such as Financials Services, Distribution, Communications, Industrial and the Public sector.
