Nick is a direct descendant of Antonio Bianchi, a cabinet maker from Lake Como, who left Italy in the mid-nineteenth century to settle in this Cheshire market town, getting together with another Italian family to establish Arighi Bianci in 1854.
In this wide-ranging discussion, Nick discusses the advantages of running a family-owned business, how the company fared during lockdown, and Arighi Bianchi’s ongoing pivot towards online retailing.
