Most Thai people separate shoes that are worn in the home and those that are worn outside the home.

เวลากลับบ้าน เราจะถอดรองเท้าไว้นอกบ้าน

When we are back home, we take off our shoes outside the home.

แล้วพอเข้าบ้าน ก็จะใส่รองเท้าในบ้าน

And when we enter the house, we wear shoes that are used inside home.

หรืออาจจะไม่ใส่ก็ได้

Or some people don't wear them.

แต่ไม่ว่ายังไงก็ตาม เราจะไม่ใส่รองเท้านอกบ้านเข้ามาในบ้านค่ะ

But no matter what, we don't wear outside shoes into the house.
