Hi, I’m Anderson Thomas and I’m attempting to re-write the book on the modern citizen journalist. I’m offering a behind-the-scenes look at active political corruption investigations. Some are on the biggest names and organizations in American politics. As director of the Government Integrity Project at NLPC, my research sparked investigations that led to prosecutions of elected officials on every level of government, from federal to local and state over the last fifteen years. I’m hoping to share some of the skills I picked up to help journalists and policymakers understand the power and importance of open government and citizen involvement in journalism. I’d also like to see if my methods of research are transferable to consumers of news who want a better handle on where our government is on big issues like immigration, public corruption, the economy, Constitutional rights, and international conflict.
