Welcome to the WDWP with JP today we learn more from JD Vances' book. and movie 'Hillbilly Elegy'. JP talks about George W Bush's presidency (00-08), and the scare of the 9/11 tragedy. Since 9/11 there has been a shift in our world, especially the US and that shift dealt with National Security. The place we find ourselves in is principally related to that attack. The changes in our political process and the acceptance of Donald Trump are because of that time. The rise of Kamala Harris and her possible presidency in November are deeply connected to the events that changed our country and world forever. Where we are right now politically/culturally was/is deeply related to the actions and events of 9/11.
