Barry first found music when he borrowed his sister's record collection when he was about eight and was hooked. When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. As if 2020 couldn’t get any more dismal, we sat down to rewatch Darren Aronofsky’s REQUIEM FOR A DREAM, a movie so depressing that many of its viewers refuse to ever watch it again. Released in the year 2000 to positive reviews and horrified audiences, Aronofsky’s film about drug addiction and the depths people will go to get their fix still carries the reputation of being a traumatizing film-watching experience.
