Good morning, Washingtonians! It's time for your local weather forecast brought to you by the National Weather Service.
Today in Washington D. C., we have rain in the forecast before 2 pm. The rain could get heavy at times, so make sure to grab your umbrellas! High temperatures near 57 degrees Fahrenheit are expected, and it will be breezy with an east wind switching to northwest at 17 to 22 miles per hour in the afternoon. Gusts as high as 29 miles per hour are possible. The chance of precipitation stands at 100%, with new amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
Tonight, we'll see mostly cloudy skies gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 32 degrees Fahrenheit. It will remain breezy with a north wind blowing at 18 to 22 miles per hour and gusts as high as 29 miles per hour.
