Our Guests Ray Hanania Is an award-winning former Chicago City Hall political reporter. Currently, he writes columns for the Southwest News Newspaper Group in Chicagoland, the Patch Online, and is the US Special Correspondent for the Arab News Newspaper based in Riyadh. Journalist Mohamed Elsetouhi An experienced manager with a demonstrated history in the media production industry. Skilled in research, management, broadcasting, television, and writing. He holds a Master’s degree in International Commerce & Policy from the School of Public Policy at George Mason University. Dr. Atef Abdel Gawad Is a long-time, Washington D.C.-based; Middle East broadcast journalist and newspaper columnist. He is the host of numerous live shows on Middle Eastern TV networks, and covers the Washington D.C. area for Egypt's Channel One as well as its satellite network. Prof. Hani Bawardi Is a renowned historian specializing in Arab American studies, immigration, and U.S. history. With a rich background, he has taught courses on the Middle East and actively participated in national and international conferences, including the Middle Eastern Studies Association and the World Council on the Middle East. His published work, "The Making of Arab Americans: From Syrian Nationalism to U.S. Citizenship" (2014, University of Texas), is a significant contribution to the field. Additionally, his latest projects include a book chapter on Ameen Rihani and an article on immigrant historiography.
