If you ask the jury for a big number you don’t believe in, you’re probably not going to get it. The jury is going to sense it, and your client is going to pay the price.

In this episode of Trial Lawyers University, Dan Ambrose is joined by Craig Peters, partner and trial attorney at Altair Law® who handles complex and catastrophic cases involving severe injury or death. Craig went from being a public defender to a plaintiff’s lawyer and eventually co-founded his law firm in 2018.

Tune in to hear Craig share why he looks for his worst jurors–and not his best–in voir dire, why he shares all his bad facts in his mini-opening, and his strategy for converting his client’s pain into a number he believes in.
