Ever since I was a teenager, I’ve hated my thighs. Not disliked. Not “wasn’t in love with.” HATED. With a capital “H.” I’ve spent hours looking up “How to slim your thighs” articles and, more time than I’d like to admit, looking in the mirror ridiculing myself for not working harder in the gym, kicking myself for eating too much, or cursing my genetics.
