Welcome to episode 45 of the Still Spinning Podcast. We had to move nights due to scheduling things but it was a fun way to spend our hump day. We kick things off by talking about Abe Lincoln and a new show that got Dan to sign back up for Apple TV... although his excitement was short-lived. We also learn that if your name appears in a song, he will sing it to you! He calls it a disease, and Nicole calls it a Dan-ism. Dan was at Wendy's, and the person behind the counter was so nice to him he could not get over it. Until he realized that it always used to be that customer service people were nice. The bar has fallen, on both sides of the counter. Somehow, Abe Lincoln comes back up in the conversation, and we learn a bit about the make-up of his cabinet. A women in Nebraska figured out how to get FREE GAS from a pump, and boy, she took advantage of that discovery. She is now facing criminal charges and we asked the listeners to weigh in on if she should. Beetlejuice, the movie, came out THURTY SIX YEARS AGO and we cannot get over it. There is a sequel coming out and Nicole is excited, Dan will love it because of his "Michael Keaton effect" and we talk about the best and worst movies we can remember. Also westerns get some hate and Dan finds interesting DVDs in his Goodwill DVD players. It was quite a week here on the podcast, we hope you enjoy!
