Laura Smith-Fields, of Bridgeport, CT, was an Instagram personality with more than 12K followers. Her death has drawn attention from several news sources. Brenda Lee Rawls was also found dead with strikingly similar circumstances and the same person of interest.
In this episode, I recap the case surrounding Smith-Fields and Rawls, the lack of energy given by the BPD, and the current status of each case. Both stories prompted me to have a conversation with Sgt. Terris Thomas of the Jackson, MS Police Department.
