Up next on our journey through Rolling Stone's list of the greatest albums is a funk-filled album from the early 70s. Sly and the Family Stone, fresh off a greatest hits compilation, dropped this masterpiece looking at the state of the world. We're joined this time by Terry Watson, an educator, activist, and author of the recent book, Welcome to the Sick Mind of a Sane Person: Deconstructing Racism and White Supremacy. Terry helps us navigate some of the themes of this album, and offers his piano skills to help break down some of the jazz-influence components of this record. We hope you enjoy!
