Ditch the Rate Cut Hype: Inflation, Bubbles, and the Real Losers

In our society, we are at a point where rate cuts will help the rich and end up further hurting the poor. In the short term, it may provide a sigh of relief to the poor and middle class, but the asset prices of the rich will continue to melt up, further exacerbating wealth inequality. In today's podcast, I discuss the upcoming interest rate cuts and what they will do to the economy:

• Over $7 trillion in capital in Money markets will soon need to find a new home with interest rates coming down
• The intention of cutting rates is to loosen monetary conditions, and risk of recession
  • Looking back at previous rate cuts, typically, the economy wasn’t in great shape
• People parroting rate cuts over the past 6-9 months have no clue
• Just because something is too good for you doesn’t mean it's good for you
• Inflation risk of cutting rates
• Bubble risk of cutting rates
  • Malinvestments, running things hot
• Long end of curve is unable to be controlled, 10-year ticking up
• Who wins with rate cuts? People who hold assets
  • They sell it to the debtors, but they get left further behind
• Further exacerbation of wealth inequality, things get worse for the majority of Americans
• Bubbles may feel great in the short term, but in the long term, many get burned and hurt
• We must go through hard now and work towards sustainable growth in the future
• Everyone crying for rate cuts will get the opposite of what they want, just like everyone crying for stimmies
• Future inflation relief stimmies coming your way by midterms
• We need to stand up for hard money, freedom, and free market capitalism
• We can’t keep perpetuating this system that grows the poor and hollows out the middle class
