The psalmist made a demand on his situation to say, I have been with these negative soundings too long. In the same regard, we as believers need to assess what is tolerated in our life. When we have stayed too long or allowed opposition and negative people and situations; we need to guard our peace. This should be an indicator to come out from that place, to maintain the peace we have found in God. Being mindful to keep the peace in the presence of deception and discord, is the position needed to remove distribution. We should do as David and declare our Peace in Jesus' Name!
