You might recall in Episode 31 with John "Iron Man" Cantrell, we reference his dear friend, Rachel Holthaus "The Hope Dealer". WOW! This woman is a living miracle. When you hear about her accident, it's absolutely remarkable that she's still alive. Rachel comes to The PRP from Topeka, KS. Rachel and Ronnie met through at a boxing event in Topeka, same boxing event where John Cantrell was fighting. Rachel was introduced to Ronnie by his old friends from Marysville, KS...Matt & Tiffany McManis. Rachel's story has a few twists and turns but the short of the story is...she battled substance abuse for many years to mask a variety of physical and emotional pain over the years. The substance use eventually got out of control to where she had a failed suicide attempt that left her very critically injured. But she lived! And through all of that she has reconnected with her christian faith and is now using her testimony to share love and hope to as many people as possible. WARNING: During the discussion of her failed suicide attempt is graphic and may be difficult to listen.
