In episode 13 Emma shed's many tears with Claire Shum of @abigailsheart who shares her story of infant loss after they lost their daughter Abigail in January 2020 to a congenital heart defect called Hypo-plastic Left Heart or HLHS.
Congenital Heart disease is the most common form of birth defect in Australia, affecting up to 1 in 100 live-born babies and the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute states that a baby is born with congenital heart disease every 4 hours in Australia.
