So, yesterday’s nerve ablation went well. One driver in the Merritt Island area almost changed that! Ablation done…Lori driving home…anesthesia so I can’t. We are in the left-hand turn lane at Courtney Parkway and 520…it is a TWO lane left turn and we are in the outside lane. I look to my right…I’m in the passenger seat. A bright red pick-up is sitting so close to us that I could NOT have opened my door if I wanted to. That truck is in the straight only lane but NOT going on the green light, holding up traffic behind it. I look behind us and there is plenty of room behind us…but NO! This asshat wants to be where we are. Mind you, there are vehicles to our left in the inside turn lane. Said asshat has no turn signal and when the turn arrow changes to green, just turns and nearly clips our front end, as if we are invisible! Yet visible enough to get next to us in the NO TURN lane. I had to tell Lori to break as to let said asshat get by us with no collision. Moral of story. Leave earlier or wait your turn where you are supposed to and DON’T BE AN ASSHAT!
