The team is summoned once again by J. Fury to investigate the mysterious portal situation uncovered a week prior. They are instructed to meet Daredevil in Hell's Kitchen for answers on what he has discovered about these portals. On their way, they come across a destroyed fire station, remarkably with no casualties. Shortly after, they spot a burning building and heroically rescue a group of firefighters trapped by the flames and smoke.
The team learns that someone has been systematically wrecking fire stations, and it is soon revealed to be the work of the Demolisher. As they press on, they discover more firefighters in peril at another fire station. Just then, they come face-to-face with the Demolisher, setting the stage for an intense confrontation.
