Jim Moose is an innovative business leader with extensive experience in the medical industry. In 2001, his wife was diagnosed with Myocarditis, which led Jim to start the Myocarditis foundation. Most recently, Jim co-founded his third for-profit business, LeukoLife DX, a medical diagnostic company that optimizes treatment for heart failure and other chronic diseases aimed at decreasing the mortality rate of patients undergoing heart surgery. Safe to say, Jim's a pretty philanthropic guy. But in the age of cutthroat capitalism, is there any value in giving to others without direct evidence of monetary returns?
