1:02:45Healing is an ongoing process that needs us to move beyond treating isolated symptoms and embrace a more interconnected, systems-thinking approach to wellness. Healing involves not just the physical body, but our relationship with ourselves, our communities, and nature. Lana Jelenjev is a community alchemist, volunteer coach, mentor, and learning specialist. She has been working with the Neurodiversity Foundation for the past seven years, and is a HOPE (Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experience) trainer. In this episode, you will Learn about the platinum rule, which focuses on understanding and meeting others' needs and how that fosters deeper connections and relationships. We all share a common humanity. Our interdependence is crucial for healing and for our collective freedom. Feel into how embracing our unique strengths and identities is essential for personal growth and fulfilment. The concept of neurodiversity challenges the idea that there is a “normal” way of thinking and encourages acceptance and understanding of different cognitive styles. Appreciate how unlearning societal narratives and redefining productivity and rest are essential for personal and societal wellbeing, and how we are not less because of that – in fact, we uncover much more of our potential and wisdom in the process.
