In this episode we had a conversation with local writer and musician Russ Litten about all sorts of fascinating bits and bobs, including becoming a writer via being a lyricist in a band, stumbling into working on a Hollywood blockbuster (and why that’s not all it’s cracked up to be), inspiring prisoners, ‘method’ inspiration and whether a lack of imagination is a hindrance as a writer - all peppered with lots of amusing anecdotes and musings on life as a creative.
We also had a chat with our colleague Tracey about what a Librarian actually is, how getting the dream gig of judging a prestigious book award can have its downsides, the joys of crime fiction and a few guilty pleasures too.
