Ah the NCAA National Player of the Year. The award granted to the player most consider to be the best player in the sport of Men's College Basketball in a given season.
In year with no clear cut favorite, NCAA.com has narrowed it down to nine guys who legitimately are vying for the award. Luka Garza, Ayo Dosunmu and Traycee Jackson-Davis from the Big Ten. Potential #1 overall pick Cade Cunningham and Baylor Junior guard Jared Butler out of the Big 12. Jeremiah Robinson-Earl out Villanova. And the Gonzaga Guys in Jalen Suggs, Corey Kispert and Drew Timme. Only one can win the award and all nine of these guys have a great case for why their name is in the running.
