Have you ever tried to use the wrong tool for the job? It might work for a while, but eventually things fall apart. The tool itself isn’t broken; it’s just being used in a way for which it wasn’t designed.

That’s exactly what happens for highly sensitive women when we try to operate like the other 80% of the population. Instead of honoring the way we’re wired, we push ourselves to fit in, and when it doesn’t work, we turn on ourselves with criticism.
