Extraversion is one of the Big Five Personality traits. People high in extraversion are usually outgoing and energized by social situations. On the opposite end of the spectrum, people who are higher in introversion are typically more reserved and feel drained by social situations.
It's important to note that like all other Big Five Personality traits, your level of extraversion falls on scale and can be situational. You aren't "extroverted" or "introverted", though you can lean farther into one than the other.
Extraversion can also be broken down into two subcategories, enthusiasm and assertiveness. So while you may be high in one of those, you can also be low in the other.
