The preaching of the cross, is the only answer for sin. That our old man is crucified with Christ, and the body of sin (the whole sin nature), is destroyed! This message is foolishness to them that perish (die in their sin). But unto us which are saved, it is the power of God. It is the miracle of God, and it is the only thing that can take sin out of the heart.
