The "Dune" miniseries, released in 2000, is a 3 part television adaptation of Frank Herbert's iconic science fiction novel. Directed by John Harrison, the miniseries presents our FAVORITE adaptation of the novel both in scope and sheer music video realness.
The miniseries pays careful attention to character development with unparalleled world building and features a stellar cast, including William Hurt, Alec Newman, and Saskia Reeves. While working within the constraints of a television budget, the 2000 "Dune" miniseries received praise for its ambition in tackling Herbert's intricate narrative, making it a notable adaptation for fans of the novel. (Naturally we freaking loved it)
