As the show becomes fully entrenched in the lineup at ESPN, it is heading towards the launching pad that is about to take it to new heights. Before we get there though, the gang continues to struggle with the show just not feeling right. As a last gasp effort to get Dan back in his comfort zone, Mike Ryan makes a call to ESPN executives to take the show off television for two weeks and move back to the smaller studio at The Clevelander. As Mike Ryan says himself, this may have been the move that saved the show. After the break, the show comes out flying what the gang considers to be the golden era of content. Around the time of the studio change, the show is moved into the mid-day slot on ESPN Radio, making it arguably the biggest thing in sports radio at the time. You'll hear from Dan, Stu, Mike, Chris Cote, Old Money Charlie and even former ESPN President, John Skipper, about the show making the transition from Fusion to ESPNU and afternoons to mid days. Then, in line with the golden era of content, get ready for what is far and away the best supercut so far. Here are just some of the highlights: Bob Einstein on Rob Gronkowski, Alan Thicke on Tomas Hertl, Norm Macdonald watching the Draft, We Are The Lobos, Corn Elder and perhaps the most egregious Stugotz mistake in show history.

We check back in with the laziest Santa we have ever seen, Rose, one last time to tell us how things are going at our Toy Drive. Then, Juju Gotti joins us to give us his picks for Thursday Thunder and recap a truly epic show which featured Greg Cote stealing David Dwork from Roy, Amin talking with a bag full of nickels in his mouth and College Mike's abs. Miami's very own boogeyman, Dirk Nowitzki, joins the show and Mike Ryan has fled the premises in fear. We talk to the Dallas Mavericks legend about slaying the giant in 2011 when he took down LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and the Miami Heat basically all by himself. We also dive deeper on his rivalry with Dwyane Wade and just how frosty things got at one point in time. Plus, Amin goes deep into the archive to find the stats from when Dirk and John Amaechi matched up back in the day and we make a shocking revelation that Meech may have been a Dirk Stopper. To wrap up, we play Stump The Meech with some shocking mispronunciations from Stugotz. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices…

After John Amaechi's 'Chiddy Chiddy Bang Bang' reference, Tony comes really close to reading as he shoots to explain the movie to us. Then we check in with Rose again at our Toy Drive and she presents a challenge to our listeners that could lead to her skydiving, which hurtles us into a discussion about the time Tony went skydiving and had to succumb to an instructor the size of Ethan, who joins us for a hilarious demonstration. Plus, Meech has beef with Elon Musk, we revisit Amin's jumpshot that makes Meech sick, Mike Ryan is scared of Dirk Nowitzki and we further explore the Aaron Rodgers docuseries on Netflix. Dianna Russini joins the show after her bombshell report this morning about the dysfunction around the New York Jets franchise, including Woody Johnson turning down a trade for Jerry Jeudy because his Madden rating was too low. Plus, Bill Belichick circled back to the New York Jets and Mike Ryan found it sad. We move on with some songs to spread the Holiday spirit including an absolute banger from Taylor about Bill Belichick going to North Carolina. Stephen A. Smith had some interesting takes about Miami and it has Meech completely freaked out. Then, we watch some video of Kanye West at a deposition which leads us into a discussion about how celebrity affects mental health. Learn more about your ad choices. Today's Cast: Dan, John Amaechi, Chris, Tony, Mike, Amin. We are all struggling a bit today after last night's holiday party but luckily Johan Amaechi is here to lift all of our spirits. We begin by recapping the best moments of our holiday party, including a triumphant moment of celebration between Greg Cote and David Dwork. Then, the Florida Panthers dominated the Minnesota Wild last night and everybody is talking about the quintessential Matthew Tkachuk game that took place last night. Plus, Amin face planted and busted his lip up last night, but powers through to have a discussion with Meech about the concept of athletes being soft, including Joel Embiid after Stephen A. Smith's comments and the Tennessee Titans after their head coach, Brian Callahan, responded to the accusation that his team is not tough. Learn more about your ad choices. Lewis Black has finally had enough… There’s a lot for the modern comedy icon to look back on (and look forward to) - Lewis gets to the root of where all that anger he has on stage comes from in real life (he learned some of it from watching his mom yell at the TV), and how he channels it. Dan and Lewis also walk through his career– from years of playwriting off-off-broadway, to getting big break after big break, to finally deciding to retire from a life on tour. Lewis and Dan also share stories about their brothers, and get into the spirituality of feeling someone’s presence after they’ve passed on. Don’t miss your last chance to see Lewis live on his “Goodbye Yeller Brick Road, The Final Tour.” Visit lewisblack.com for tickets and tour dates. Learn more about your ad choices. Juju Gotti joins the show to end the day and break down how today went. We recap the epic interview with Nick Turturro, Michael Kay and David Samson and Greg Cote's reaction to being placed alongside Dave Hyde. Plus, Greg and Juju make a bet in case they end up meeting in their Fantasy Football Championship. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices…

Do you miss the Kurt Thomas baseline jumper? What about the Tyrone Hill pick-and-pop? Did the Eric Snow elbow jumper do it for you? What if layups counted for three points? Subjective three-point lines? It's time to fix basketball and Chris and Stugotz have whipped up some ideas. Plus, we check back in with Roy one more time and he brought a visitor along: Rose. Then, Greg Cote had Alonzo Mourning on this week's Greg Cote Show With Greg Cote and he discusses the emotional interview he did with him and how Chris make Zo unhappy with some of his questions. We wrap up the show by talking about the new docuseries which follows Aaron Rodgers and whether or not Billy ended up like Rodgers by the end of it. Learn more about your ad choices. In one of the most chaotic interviews in recent memory, Nick Turturro joins us to discuss the rage he has felt as a New York Yankees fan since Juan Soto signed with the New York Mets. As he unleashes his fury, David Samson is also with us to assess the situation and tells us where the Yankees have gone wrong in their Plan B since losing out on Juan Soto. Did they give Max Fried too much money? Is Cody Bellinger a solution in center field? Then, to add even more fun to the proceedings, the voice of the Yankees, Michael Kay, joins in on the fun to give us his thoughts on how the Yankees offseason has gone. Plus, would Dan attend Michael Kay's funeral? Would Michael Kay attend Dan's funeral? Would anybody attend David Samson's funeral? Also, this entire time Greg Cote is wrapping presents and forcing Michael Kay and Nick Turturro to watch. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices…

Dan kicks off the hour by sharing his love and gratitude for everybody in the studio as we move through the holiday season, but pays no mind to those outside the studio. He reels in Izzy from the outside to discuss how his allegiances have changed with the Miami Heat stuck in a rut and the Florida Panthers winning the Stanley Cup then continuing to be phenomenal this season. He also shares his allegiances on the big topic that rustled Greg Cote's feathers in the last hour: is Greg Cote really neck-and-neck with Dave Hyde? Plus, Doc Rivers takes a victory lap after the Milwaukee Bucks won the NBA Cup last night, and it launches us into a very heated debated about whether the NHL has surpassed the NBA as a product. To cool the room off, Chris Cote has a loop to close. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices…

Today's Cast: Dan, Stugotz, Greg, Chris, Billy, Mike. Roy is out at Vivo! at the Dolphin Mall for the second day of our 'Roy Drive' collecting unwrapped gifts for children this holiday season. We check in with our Stoic Santa to see how things are going, and Dan announces that he will match all of the toys we collect during the drive. Then, we get into a discussion about how the Florida Panthers are capturing the hearts of fans in South Florida and doing something Dan never thought possible: making people care about regular season hockey. With basketball's ratings dipping and the Miami Heat continuing to fall short of expectations, have the Panthers overtaken them as the second team in Miami? Thankfully, we have Greg Cote here to put this into the proper perspective as one of the most important columnists in South Florida sports history right alongside Dave Hyde. JuJu is back with Dan and Chris to recap today's show and add some notes on the burden of the birthday wish, text messages vs. phone calls, Dan going back to the Rose-saying-Luigi well a few too many times, Tony's legitimate seething that Dan thought was a bit, his love for the NBA Cup, and a rule change he'd like to propose for basketball. Amin is pulling off the scam of a lifetime by getting to Las Vegas on the company dime even if he does truly care about the Emirates NBA Cup. Amin joins from Vegas to discuss who will win tonight's Cup Final and to play some NBA Trivia with Stugotz. Then, Roy Wood Jr. stops by to discuss needing products on TV commercials, what his kid wants for Christmas, drones, missing the good old days for conspiracy theories, and why we all need to stay out of Travis Hunter's business. Also, is the 12-team College Football Playoff too much? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices…

We have to get to a very important pee story from yesterday. Maybe it shouldn't have been phrased that way, but here we are. If there were a grid on a toilet, which section would you aim your pee at? Then, it's time for Stugotz's Weekend Observations including dropped footballs, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and the Top 5 Names In Sports That Make Stugotz Feel Fancy. Plus, we're back to Tony at our Holiday Toy Drive for an update AND to get Rose's factually accurate recap of "Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous." Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices…

We need to get to Tony's Top 5 while he's dressed as Cuban Santa at our Toy Drive, but Rose is there and she has completely stolen the show. And while we laugh at her remarkable pronunciations, at least we're being subtle. Then, Tony finally gets to his Top 5 full of the ghosts of Christmas past, 40 burgers, and the population of Whoville. Plus, Mike is like a dog with a bone on the plot of Miss Congeniality 2, the Florida Panthers won a big one last night, and we finally get to a discussion about Wicked.
