Tara Maller is a research fellow in the National Security Studies Program at the New America Foundation. Her current areas of focus include sanctions, diplomacy, intelligence, cybersecurity, terrorism and women in security. Starting in late January, she will be taking on the role of Associate Director of Strategic Communications at The Franklin Project at the Aspen Institute. Previously, she worked at BrightWire Inc. , a NY-based startup, where she served as the managing editor and managing director of operations, Americas. Previously, Maller worked as a military analyst at the Central Intelligence Agency, focusing on the Iraq insurgency. She has written for Foreignpolicy.com, Cnn.com , BlogsofWar.com, Bloomberg View, Al Jazeera America and the Huffington Post. She has also appeared as a commentator on CNN's Erin Burnett OutFront, Bloomberg TV, HuffPost Live, MSNBC and Al Jazeera America. Rebekah Bolser is the Program Director for the International Youth Council and the founder of the Butler County Youth Commission. She also works with the Student Voice Project and served as a Public Relations Director for the Bundles of Joy Philippines Relief effort, a grassroot movement that began after the recent typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda. She's very passionate about engaging youth in all aspects of their communities. The issues she's passionate about include safe water access, extreme poverty and hunger, and gender equality. In the coming year, she will be working to organize the International Youth Council World Water Conference as well as working with the Futures Forum to introduce the concept of Futures Thinking to young people in hopes to develop ideas & resources for a more sustainable future.
