They also talk about the state of the game today, from tense relationships between competitive players. traders and speculators, as well as the corporate ambitions of Wizards of the Coast, who may be trying to make the game a new Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Finally, we talk about how MTG cards are valued, how and why some finance guys see them as more stable assets than housing, and whether unregulated MTG finance markets might be making the competitive side of the game feel less sustainable in the long run.
