It can seem hard to reconcile spirituality and depression. "Shouldn't being spiritual keep me from being depressed?" But that's not the case. We are spiritual and physical beings and having depression is not a statement on whether or not you are spiritual. Depression happens and taking the steps to support your wellbeing with physical means is itself a spiritual practice.
