In Addressing Our Fatal Flaws | Using Your Discretion When Receiving Feedback About Your Personality How people decide how they feel about you, is relative. Much of what informs someone's opinion about you has to do with how they see themselves. Whether it's personal or professional, people's perceptions are influenced by previous experiences, beliefs, thoughts, values, and desires that they project onto you, but this projections often have very little to do with you. Many are comfortable making snap decisions about others, because much of what they leverage to inform those choices has very little to do with information and insight that is outside of the context of themselves. With this truth in mind, it's important that we recognize that how someone views us, does not need to inform how we see ourselves. Who we are and how we are, is the right fit for many people we have met or have yet to meet. Showing up in authenticity means giving people an option to select themselves out if they find your flaws to fatal for them. Just remember what is fatal for one, could be fantastic for another.
