Its quite refreshing that I still can be blown away by people. Such is the case with my latest guest. Dr. Alzo Reddick, at the youthful age of 84. is a dynamo. His accolades are numerous: first Black male teacher at Winter Park high school, first Black administrator at Rollins College, both local Central Florida institutions, and he became the first Black man from Orlando voted into the state House of Representatives. But listening to the good doctor speak he will remind you that he only stands this tall because he is standing on the shoulders of the people who came before him. A gifted storyteller with decades of insight, he takes us on a journey through race, politics and activism.
