This movie follows the life of David “Noodles” Aaronson as a young teenager, young man and old man and seamlessly weaves the years of 1918, 1930-1933 and 1968 together. He’s a former Prohibition-era Jewish gangster that returns to the Lower East Side of Manhattan, where he must once again confront the ghosts and regrets of his old life. Directed by Sergio Leone.
Based on the book, “The Hoods” by Harry Grey. The film starred Robert De Niro, James Woods, Elizabeth McGovern, James Hayden, William Forsythe, Treat Williams, Tuesday Weld, Joe Pesci, Burt Young, Jennifer Connelly and numerous others.
