Lauren is a fascinating and inspiring innovator, global spiritual speaker, successful author and entrepreneur.
For over three decades, Lauren has evolved an innovative approach to spiritual psychotherapy which integrates psychotherapy and dream work with metaphysical tools. Lauren lectures worldwide and facilitates trainings and workshops in Tarotpy® , an innovative approach to spiritual psychotherapy. Not only is she a psychotherapist, teacher, trainer and speaker, but she is also author of the multi-award-winning book, Tarotpy - It’s All in the Cards. The integration of tarot and psychology is trending, and Lauren was at the forefront of that trend, pioneering Tarotpy as a clinical method in 1983.
Lauren told me recently that now more than ever, there is a collective hunger to integrate divination tools into psychotherapy and our daily lives. She believes we need the light of higher consciousness to navigate and support inner resilience during these times of uncertainty and upheaval. She began her career in film and later moved into psychotherapy. Lauren also serves on the Santa Barbara board of Pacifica Graduate Institute's Opus Archives and Research Center, after serving as the board president for two years.
Lauren moved her practice to Santa Barbara five years ago. She dreamed of moving up from Los Angeles for 25 years as she feels at home with the people, the culture, the beauty of the city and landscape, and the high caliber of physicians, therapists, and alternative healers. “Santa Barbara is a vortex that draws healers and seekers to it,” according to Lauren.
As a board-approved continuing education provider, Lauren has trained and provided certification in Tarotpy to dozens of health care practitioners, healers and laypersons.
