Brandon Andrews is charged with leading a nationwide casting tour focused on bringing more diverse ideas and voices to Shark Tank – an award winning American business reality show that connects budding entrepreneurs with potential investors. Brandon is living his Soul Career - a career he never knew existed when he was growing up with his grandmother in a small town in southern Alabama.
As a child he was a natural athlete with a bright mind and ambitions of becoming an engineer - but life for Brandon was not easy. As a high school student his mother was incarcerated and he and his sister were temporarily homeless. But his determination and positivity helped him to overcome these challenges as he channeled his experiences into an increased sense of responsibility for others. It was this ongoing commitment to diversity and the development of minority communities that led Brandon to a 5-year career in politics in the U.S. Senate and eventually to activism and entrepreneurship.
