As we have seen in the global response to the pandemic, Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies such as genetic sequencing, vaccine biotechnology, and mass surveillance software have been employed to combat the virus. However, we must be cautious not to blindly embrace trans-humanism, as doing so could have profound consequences for humanity.
