Welcome to another episode of Belly Birth Beyond where I dive deep into debunking myths and the common misconceptions surrounding your pelvic floor health.

I explain the structure and function of the pelvic floor, addressing common issues such as incontinence, pain, and what kegels actually do for your pelvic floor (and why you shouldn’t be doing them).

Pelvic pain and problems during pregnancy and postpartum are common but treatable. The importance of relaxation techniques and proper pelvic floor engagement are key to having a smoother birth and postpartum recovery.

I also touch on postpartum recovery, cesarean scar care, and the impact of pelvic health on menstrual cycles and sexual pleasure.

This episode is a call to action for women to better understand and take care of their pelvic floor health across all stages of their life.
