Unlike traditional construction, where the architect often leads and designs are tailored incrementally, modular projects are rooted in the principles of efficiency, standardization, and repeatability. This shift necessitates a design-driven approach, where a design manager leads an integrated design team — with architects as one of many critical contributors rather than the primary decision-makers.
