Welcome to a special episode of Thinking That Matters!

Whether this is the first time you’re joining me or you’ve been part of this journey for the last few years! I’m excited to share a milestone that’s close to my heart—a dream realized. In this episode, I’m reflecting on the powerful principles that helped me achieve best-seller status for my book, Pick Your Path.

First, we dive into the importance of envisioning your dream. I’ve always believed that our brains think in pictures, and for the last two years, I’ve had a vision board with a central image—becoming a best-selling author. This dream was the driving force behind everything I did.

Next, we talk about the need to plan for your dream. For me, that meant creating content, writing scripts, recording videos, and building a library of resources under Pick Your Path. Each step was part of the bigger plan.

Then, I share how crucial it is to tell others about your dream. I didn’t keep my aspirations to myself—I spoke them out loud, and that led to connections that were vital to my success.

Another key principle is asking for help. When I shared my goal, a dear friend connected me with a publisher who played a crucial role in my journey. Asking for help also meant rallying a launch team who worked tirelessly to help my dream come true.

Of course, none of this would have happened without putting in the work. From writing and editing to working with a team, every bit of effort was necessary to bring my dream to life.

And finally, when a dream is realized, it’s essential to pause and celebrate—and to truly express the gratitude that fills your heart.

I’m thrilled to share that we hit best-seller status in not just three categories in the U.S., but also multiple categories in Canada, Australia, and the U.K. I can't even begin to express how deeply grateful I am for each and every one of you who supported this journey. Whether you downloaded the Kindle version, shared my posts, or simply sent your encouragement—together, we made this dream come true.

If you haven’t grabbed your copy of Pick Your Path yet, now’s the perfect time! Dive into the principles that helped me and so many others find clarity, direction, and success. https://www.amazon.com/Pick-Your-Path-Mental-Autopilot-ebook/dp/B0D6NGKLJP

Let’s continue this journey together—because your dreams matter!

More about Elizabeth Mahusay:

Elizabeth grew up a self-starter who as a young woman prided herself on her independence and self-sufficiency. She found herself challenged to develop deep and meaningful relationships because of her prideful “know-it-all” approach to life and work. She projected that she was perfect yet struggled to deal with failure, thoughts of insecurity, and the feeling of inadequacy. Through her study of the Bible, time as an entrepreneur, and the accountability of some great mentors Elizabeth, is a transformed woman. Today, she passionately invests her time helping others transform their thinking.

Elizabeth is author of the recently published Transform My Thinking, God study on the book of Philippians. She has published over 170 YouTube videos and hundreds of Facebook Live videos ranging from topics of business building, daily encouragement/motivation, inspiration, marriage, and Bible exposition.
