“Money makes the world go round” but how do you manage this important energy as a Conscious Creative Leader in a world of scarcity? As serial entrepreneurs and creatives, money is something we’ve both struggled with in our lives. Much of our personal work has been about redefining and taking charge of our relationship with money so that it works better for us.

So this episode is packed with insights you can put into practice right now, covering:

  • Funding creative projects
  • Spending plans versus budgets
  • Redefining wealth and philanthropy
  • Money as energy exchange
  • Money and self worth
  • The four K’s of professional opportunities and how to use them as your compass

And this week’s questions to ponder are:

How are you defining your financial worth? And where are you stepping back from asking for your worth?

ABOUT THE PODCAST

Conscious Creative Leadership is a series of informal conversations about leadership in the 21st century, between close friends, trauma therapist Darren Abrahams and Leadership Mentor Nadine Benjamin MBE. Darren and Nadine are both professional singers, entrepreneurs and Certified High Performance coaches and together they explore what it means to be a leader in a changing world - starting with leading yourself. Now in our second season, each half hour chat focuses on a different element of leadership, from Clarity to Commitment to Imposter Syndrome. So if you are an artist, a creative corporate or a change maker looking for new ideas, join us to get a blueprint for a more heart centred approach to getting things done.

ABOUT US

We have been friends and collaborators for over a decade. We met as singers, trained together as High Performance Coaches and have been cheerleaders, supporters and truth tellers for each other as we create our own initiatives and projects. In 2021 we came together creatively for the first time to write and produce a new opera, BEAM, a story of one woman’s healing journey from trauma to leadership. These conversations have been informed by our many years of learning together and the experience of co-creation. With this podcast we’d love to invite you into that conversation with us.

Darren Abrahams is a therapist, coach, trainer and singer. Co-Founder of The Human Hive and the One World Orchestra, Wellbeing Advisor for Musicians Without Borders, board member of Opera Circus and co-creator of BEAM.
