All the leading indicators, and all other indicators that have heretofore marked the onset of economic recession, suggest that 2024 could be a rough year. Our guest on Retirement Lifestyle Advocates radio this week, John Rubino, talks with your host, Dennis Tubbergen, about his thoughts on the likelihood of a recession. Mr. Rubino points to indicators that aren't talked about much, that have both reached historic peaks, indicating that given the everything bubble of the last ten years or so, it could mean a particularly painful recession ahead. John Rubino is the founder of the financial website DollarCollapse.com. He is the co-author, with Gold Money’s James Turk, of The Money Bubble, and The Collapse of the Dollar and How to Profit from It, and author of Clean Money: Picking Winners in the Green-Tech Boom. After earning a Finance MBA from New York University, he spent the 1980s on Wall Street as a money market trader, equity analyst, and junk bond analyst. During the 1990s he was a featured columnist with TheStreet.com and a frequent contributor to Individual Investor, Online Investor, and Consumers Digest, and his own column on Substack.com.
