But, throughout the years, I noticed that all the stories I enjoyed and grew to love needed more diversity. And when a diverse character appeared, it almost always was in a stereotypical format

By featuring characters, themes, and narratives that reflect the Black experience, Black Anime provides a platform for individuals to see themselves reflected in a genre that has historically lacked diversity.
