Sam Clements is curating a fictional film festival. He'll accept almost anything, but the movie must not be longer than 90 minutes. This is the 90 Minutes Or Less Film Fest podcast.

In episode 120 Sam is joined by Neil Alcock, film writer and author of HITCHOLOGY: A Film-by-Film Guide to the Style and Themes of Alfred Hitchcock.

Neil has chosen Hitchcock's The 39 Steps (86 mins). The 1935 film stars Robert Donat, Madeleine Carroll, John Laurie, and Peggy Ashcroft.

Sam and Neil discuss Hitchcock's early filmmaking career in Britain, Robert Donat's onscreen presence and Hitchcock's nicknames for his leading actors.
